Conspiracy goes Mainstream

Back cover of the latest New Scientist Magazine.

Curiosity Week lists conspiracies - Area 51, UFO Sightings, Titanic, Holy Grail & Mongolian Death Worm. But what about a real conspiracy? Like the Murdoch family having the third largest stake in Funtastic Ltd, owner of Madman Entertainment, National Geographic distributor in Australia.

Now with conspiracies becoming popular as trust in government and corporate leadership breaks down, the National Geographic Conspiracy Week adds up to nothing other than an exercise in disinformation.

This can only be described as a short term fix for the media kingpins. The barbarians are at the gates and we want blood.
